| Description | Twice now I've made a wood furnace in fortress mode and twice now the furnace does not work! All my assigned jobs are just ignored by my idle dwarves. I've gone and assigned every single idle dwarf 'furnace operation' and it's not done a thing. none of them will lift a finger to do the jobs. I have not tried it with magma furnaces so far but the wood ones don't work at all. | ||||

It's not "Furnace Operation," it's "Wood Burning" (which, to compound the confusion, is under the "Farming" section). Does that clear things up? |
