| Description | At a forge, it is possible to make metal blocks out of 1 bar of the equivalent metal, as has always been the case in Dwarf Fortress. Additionally, as has always been the case, the resulting metal blocks will somehow weigh MORE than the bars used to make them - in particular, they weigh exactly 25% more. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Get some platinum bars - note that they weigh 42Γ. Forge them into blocks - note that they weigh 53Γ, which is 11Γ heavier than the bars used to make them. | ||||
| Additional Information | It's always been like this - even in version 0.23.130.23a, raw stone weighed 300Γ, blocks weighed 250Γ, and bars weighed 200Γ. | ||||

Effectively, the problem is that blocks are size 250 and bars are size 200. |
|
|
This appears to have been fixed in version 0.34.08 - both bars and blocks are now size 600 (and boulders have been increased from 7000 to 10000). |
