Summary0000210: Migrants spawn with wildly varying skills at high levels.
DescriptionAbout 50% of my migrants spawn with lots of skills that do not have to do with each other. One migrant planter came with some novice weapons skills and novice mechanics. A mason spawned with high master masonry and talented cheese making. More often than not, migrants will come with a adequate skill and 1 or 2 unrelated novice skills.

This is not a bug. From the Dev log - "This also messed up soldier migrants, but I've compensated for that by giving migrants higher and more varied skills in general, including the skills of a former soldier at times." (March 18th, 2010)

They also spawn without being flagged to do their 'named' job (hunters and smiths mostly)

They also spawn obsessively frequently. My first year i was already at 49 migrants, and that's only because i have my pop limited to 50 atm

This is intended behavior, but 49 migrants in the first year probably isn't.
