Doesn't it take more then one item from melting to gain back a bar? It can, yes. Melting returns 1/3 of the metal used to make the item. For an item like goblets (you get 3 of them from one bar, or something), you might have to melt 9 of them to get one bar. The smelter invisibly "stores" fractional amounts of metal, so melt another dozen flasks and you should get a bar or two. Since the description is consistent with intended behavior, I'm marking this "no change required." Feel free to reopen this report if this explanation doesn't explain what you're seeing. |
