Summary | 0002142: Producing Metal Goblets Yields Goblet of Wrong Metal |
---|
Description | When ordered to produce a silver goblet, the dwarf used 1 coke and 1 silver bar to produce a goblet, but the result was an iron goblet. Lead bars could be similarly converted to iron goblets. Iron bars also (correctly) produce iron goblets. It may be the type of metal used to make a goblet first determines all the production in the future. |
---|
Steps To Reproduce | Attempt to forge a goblet, and carefully watch to confirm that the product is not, in fact, the metal started with. If the goblet comes out correct, attempt to forge a goblet with a different type of metal.
I have not attempted to reproduce this with a non Mac/Linux version. |
---|
Additional Information | I checked the forums and someone reported obtaining gold goblets from silver bars, so it seems not to be only iron, but seems that it is consistent: Once a type of non-silver goblet is created, further goblets will also be the same material. For example, my fort produces only iron goblets from silver, regardless of whether I restart the game. All non-goblet items seem to produce normally. |
