Summary | 0000216: Dwarf Fortress fails to release memory after world gen | ||||
Description | After completing a world gen, the program fails to release the memory back to the computer. It continues to hold all the world gen data in the memory until the game is closed. Closing the game successfully releases all memory back to the computer to be used again. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Generate a new world. Watch memory consumption climb. | ||||

Yes, when I reach 100% memory usage I immediately crash. I opened a second issue about that as I didn't immediately realize they were related. |
