Summary | 0002295: Removing frozen screw pump causes whole power train to be labeled "Frozen elsewhere"
Description | I had a frozen screw pump. I then dismantled it, cleared the ice and rebuilt it. Everything that was previously connected to it, including itself, was labeled "Frozen Elsewhere".
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Connect at least two parts which use power, one of which is a screw pump. 2. Freeze the screw pump's input tile. 3. Dismantle the screw pump, mine out the ice and rebuild it.

Ok...more information: * It was only one part of the machine that was stuck on "Frozen Elsewhere" * I discovered that by repeatedly deconstructing parts until none were marked "Frozen Elsewhere" * That part was a gear assembly. * So apparently this bug is random. |

Known bug from the old system: # 000392 □ [dwarf mode][buildings][machines] (http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?topic=6839.0) even after frozen gear assembly is removed, machine frozen state not updated, and frozen parts can start moving Some other reports: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=9358.0 http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=8347.0 Is the method for reproducing the bug successful at least sometimes? |
