Summary | 0002411: Volcano that pierces water cavern layer will drain into magma sea plus cave-ins.
Description | I like to embark on sites with a volcano and have noticed only since upgrading to 31.08 that most volcanoes will now pierce a caverns water layer without building the lava tube walls in the water. This leaves an empty tube all the way down to where the water level is located. The tube above the water level does not contain obsidian walls, but normal stone/ore/gems. The water and the lava below it will both drain into the magma sea. This also produces many cave-in warnings at embark.
Steps To Reproduce | Turn up the volcano amount in world gen and embark at a location with a volcano.

Correction: The volcano tube will not draw on any open cavern areas not just water levels. It is the water levels that cause the cave-ins as they produce obsidian though. |
