Summary | 0002430: Item rarity makes item unproduceable
Description | With a modded in species, i wanted them to have their own armors and thus copied the entries for other armors, renamed them and updated the entity file for my species with the proper item names and such. this has worked fine in previous versions, but i stopped for a while after the bugs were found in .03 and just started up again in .08. in an effort to control what items are generated randomly for the civ, i made warplate (breastplate equivelent) rare in the entity file, warmail (chainmail equivelent) uncommon, and hunting armor (leather) common. this resulted in me not being able to produce anything other than the hunting armor. resetting everything to common has made everything produceable again.

What's the bug here? It sounds like your mod had a problem, and you fixed it. One of the intended effects of making an item UNCOMMON or RARE is that not all civs (including player fortresses) can produce it. |

ok, if its a feature instead of a bug, my mistake. feel free to set this resolved. |
