Summary0002462: Collision with open space/channeling mishap
DescriptionLocation: Third underground cavern, floor directly beneath ceiling.
A miner channeled out a floor tile that should not have caused any cave-ins. Mystery cave-in occurred, miner pushed off and fell one floor where she met with an open space and instantly died. She continued to fall to the cavern floor, but from when I continued from the save (link below), her baby was left in that open space in a "falling" state. Building platforms or walls up to and over the baby, and even causing them to collapse under and through the baby do not unstick the baby from the falling state.

Maybe unrelated, but I had a strange cave in problem in 0.31.06 I believe. I was removing a single z-level hilltop above ground and there was a cave-in which seriously injured my miner.

Might this have something to do with the old bug that left floating creatures if you saved and reloaded in the middle of the creature falling thoruhg air.

The miner still died before saving, at least.
