| Description | Seen in combat logs (in fortress mode): [.. combat starts, gorlak loses a leg to the initial charge ..] The Axedwarf hacks The Gorlak in the head with her *steel battle axe*, tearing apart the muscle! An artery has been opened by the strike! The guts pops out of the wound! The *steel battle axe* has lodged firmly in the wound! The Axedwarf twists the embedded *steel battle axe* around in The Gorlak's head! The Axedwarf hacks The Gorlak in the guts with her *steel battle axe* and the severed part sails off in an arc! The Gorlak looks sick! [.. combat continues ..] Doesn't make sense for a head wound to result in disembowelment, unless gorlaks have a very odd anatomy. | ||||

Doesn't make sense for a head wound to result in disembowelment, unless gorlaks have a very odd anatomy. They do. They have BODY_HEAD, which means their limbs and internal organs attach directly to the head, without a separate upper or lower body. |

I guess this is a minor description text problem then - they're described as humanoid. |

Yeah, I don't see a problem there. They're humanoid in that they have arms and legs. The "Most of its body is taken up by a huge tusked mouth" part makes it clear that it's all intentional. |
