| Description | I have Melancholy dwarf from a failed mood (he was in the mulitery) He just wont jump into a lake or anything like he should, he just skulks around the meeting area rarely leaving it, one time ie went very far then he suddenly flashed a blue ? and went back to the meeting area. | ||||

He'll commit suicide by starving to death. They don't always commit suicide by jumping to death, but they'll always starve or die of thirst if they don't jump. The fact that he had a mood while in the military is a bug in itself I believe. |

Yeah, I'm not sure what gave you the idea that melancholy dwarves are guaranteed to actively commit suicide. It's more likely to happen if they find themselves walking alongside ledges, but generally they just starve/dehydrate, which is not a bug. |
