| Description | I was making a fort, evreything was going well when I traded with some dwarves for the first time in this fort, after they left I thought (better give my leader a better room) SO I made a chair and assigned it to him then tried to smooth the stone in his room and all of a sudden dwarf fortress flashed a window (I think it was a "has encountered a problem and needs to close" error) and crashed. | ||||

What else were you doing at the time of the crash, since you said you lost a huge amount of work? If you manage to get a save that reliably crashes in a short period of time and demonstrates this crash please upload it to the Dwarf Fortress File Depot. |

well, I was done trading and was going to put some toys I bought with trading to melt into weapons (is that even a good idea?) and I think I was hitting some buttons to try and bring up the stock screen or looking for them and it suddenly crashed, I am trying this again. |

Reminder sent to: toybasher Have you been able to reproduce this? Are you able to provide a save or do you have enough information to relay that can prove it was actually the smoothing of the stone that caused the crash? |

No, seems like I cant repeat it. Besides, I downloaded the new version (when I download a new version or update I start over completely as in deleate all files in my dwarf fortress folder and put in the new ones) |
