Summary | 0002747: A dwarf unable to stand manages to get up when in a strange mood
Description | A dwarf, injured for over a year, had a lot of medical attention but none for months, still has lower spine, nervous tissue cut open (seemingly permanently) when stricken by a strange mood got out of his hospital bed, claimed the workshop etc. Bug? A save might be difficult as he has started the artifact now

Then after completing his alunite ring he just lay in the workshop until someone came and carried him back to the hospital |

I can confirm this behavior. I always interpreted it as (in the case of being unable to walk) them dragging themselves along the floor with their arms, or (in the case of still having functioning legs) withstanding/completely not noticing the pain of the injury because the strange mood. It might be a bug but it's a justifiable one so long as they have some ability to drag themselves along the floor (I think the dwarf I witnessed may have gone much more slowly, which would make sense, but with low FPS it's hard to judge sometimes.) |

Mood jobs aren't cancelled by injury, that is intended, though it is unclear from the description whether the dwarf actually gained the ability to stand or if the dwarf went to the mood workshop crawling. I don't recall any healing, and the other bug report on this was a false alarm. |
