| Summary | 0002795: The inventory screen changes the order of small gems, leather, bars, etc from game to game | ||||
| Description | When you meet with the diplomat and are requesting goods, a list is generated. The elements in the list have a different order ever game. This is particularly frustrating for small gems where looking for a single gem (say star rubies) out of 300 gems takes quite a bit of time. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Embark 2. meet with diplomats 3. notice the order of the small gems listed. start a new game, repeat 1-3. The two lists will be totally different and also the location of gems in the lists will be different. (alternatively, just load two games and compare the lists) | ||||
| Additional Information | I know that the lists will be different due to the motherlands availability, but the ORDER should be the same, game to game. Probably not an issue once bug testing is done, but it is particularly frustrating now. | ||||

This also changes the trade agreement screen order. Also makes macros a little less versatile game to game. |

Is this reproducible in 0.40.xx? The order seems to remain the same for me in the same world - do you mean it changes in different worlds? |

No, he means that it changes in different copies of Dwarf Fortress. |
