| Description | Smoothed stone looks like walls/built floors or paved road, but you can engrave it. You cant engrave the built floor. Same goes to smoothed walls vs built walls. They are physically the same but you can only engrave smoothed stuff. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Make two rooms -carve your first room in a mountain or something and smooth it completely including walls -build the second room outside with b-C-w and b-C-f You can only engrave in the first room if you press d-n to remove buildings, only the second room counts as a building, while being physically the same. Plus you cant built any walls/fortifications inside the second room. | ||||

This is not a bug. Tarn said that he would first have to decide what exactly it meant (IRL) to engrave on a constructed wall, before he would allow it in-game. It seems likely that he will someday create an 'engraving object', which is used to build an engraved wall, rather than allowing one to engrave constructed walls. |
