Summary0003086: Traders with building destroyer get confused when getting close to the fortress, slow down incredibly
DescriptionBy accident, I had traders with the building destroyer tag in a mod, and when they arrived at about the same time as the dwarven caravan, they approached my trade depot at normal speed, only to stop a few steps into my fortress, while dwarves merrily take that same route. After a bit, I noticed that they actually do move, if at snail's pace. Their slow pace can make them go insane.
Diplomats appearing at the same time display the same behavior, rather than acting freely as in 0000596, though such a diplomat did destroy a building once. As such, I suspect that the slowdown occurs due to the AI getting confused by two conflicting desires - getting to the trade depot, and destroying buildings.

This one might be resolved in 0.31.13, but I can't check because the new version doesn't work for me. Perhaps someone else could test the save?

Wrestling with Wubi/Ubuntu to run the newest version, I can now confirm that yes, this bug is squashed.

Alright, cool. I'll mark this as fixed along with the Demon code in 31.13.
