Summary | 0003152: Off-duty military dwarves go outside to perform civilian tasks during a civilian alert with a burrows restriction. |
---|
Description | When I set a civilian alert to restrict all civilians to a burrow, off-duty military dwarves ignore that restriction, leaving the burrow to perform civilian tasks. |
---|
Steps To Reproduce | Create an alert with an assigned burrow. Set the civilian alert to that alert. Do not set any squads to that alert, just leave them on the alert that has them inactive (because you don't want them leaving the burrow to defend it; you want them to stay inside the burrow doing their civilian tasks). Non-military civilians will not leave the burrow, but off-duty military will continue doing their regular civilian jobs without regard to the burrow restriction. |
---|
Additional Information | If there were a second type of defend burrows that disallowed military dwarves to leave the burrow they were defending, that would work for me too. This would be particularly useful for crossbowmen, as right now when they are assigned to defend a burrow, they tend to run outside the burrow as soon as they see an enemy in order to chase the enemy around instead of going to the burrow and shooting out through the fortifications. Renders crossbowmen useless. |
