Summary0003155: No liaisons after the arrival of the monarch.
DescriptionMy current fort is 15 years old and was made a mountainhome approximately 6 years prior. The Queen arrived along with her entourage (including four excellent Legendary +5 [Weapon]dwarves) and all was well in the world -- except that I stopped getting liaisons. In the time since the arrival of the queen I have received no diplomats or liaisons at all.
Steps To ReproduceGet the monarch to arrive and see if liaisons continue to show. It might also require having a dead count; this occurred in the same game as 0003901.
Additional InformationI can't rule out any other interfering factor. It could also not be the queen causing it but instead be the lack of a count, but I find that suspect because in the short time between the death of the count and the arrival of the queen I did receive two liaisons. It was only after the queen showed up that the liaisions stopped entirely.

I have a save, if it's requested.

This is normal - in previous versions, the liaison would actually arrive at your fortress as the Advisor, though this part has presumably been removed.

Explains the dwarven liaison, but what about the elven or human liaisons? Surely I should still get buggered by elves asking me to stop cutting down trees or make trade agreements with the humans even as a mountainhome.

Well the elf/human liaisons are currently bugged in that they all seem to think they are Dwarven.

The fix for 0003089 seems to suggest that the Elven diplomat was only arriving due to that bug - now that it's been fixed, we can probably expect Elven diplomats to disappear entirely unless Toady explicitly readds them (since Elves don't actually have any special positions that perform diplomacy).

I can confirm this in 31.12, once the king and his entourage arrived I get no more diplomats.

However I do sort of prefer this, as diplomats kept annoying me with their endless questions.
