Summary0003237: Beds still not 100% functional -- some dwarves still prefer to sleep in dormitory instead of claiming bedrooms
DescriptionUpdated .31.12 fort to .31.13. (Phoebus graphics pack, used his save updater.) Disassembled every single bed in the fortress, then re designated them. Waited until all were placed, then set rooms for all of the individual bedrooms and designated a large dormitory as well (it was already built, although not necessary any more).

Later, watching the bedrooms I noticed that many dwarves still prefer to sleep in the dormitory than in one of nearly a hundred unclaimed bedrooms. Many of the bedrooms are getting claimed, but any bed in the mass dormitory that I designate as a dormitory gets slept in constantly.
Steps To ReproduceAfter rebuilding all of your beds, designate a dormitory in addition to bedrooms. Watch as many dwarves still sleep in the dormitory, preventing them from claiming bedrooms.
Additional InformationThis really, really, really belongs in http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=1992 but I simply can not for the utter life of me figure out how to re open the issue. I suspect I cannot because I didn't initially report it. There is simply no button I can click to add any note or comment. I gave it the tag 'still happens'; that was the best I could do.

Also would like to note that unassigning the dormitory entirely fixed the issue. Seems the workaround is to never have dormitories if there are unclaimed bedrooms.

I wonder if a barracks designated from a bed would cause the same situation...
