Summary | 0003244: Digging ramp in unrevealed open space causes the ramp to be dug into the floor below
Description | If you dig directly above an unrevealed open space and designate a ramp to be dug below such that the tile that would contain the ramp is actually empty space, the ramp will actually be dug in the tile 1 Z-level below the original designation - if this happens to be within stone, the tile will be mined out, otherwise nothing will actually be excavated. In the case of piercing a cavern, it will reveal the area around the mined tile but will not actually breach the cavern and allow other creatures to enter.
Additional Information | A save file will be posted upon request, though I'll have to generate a tiny world and do a bit of trial and error to locate the caverns (since the "reveal" utility has not yet been updated for version 0.31.13). The case of designating a ramp in an unrevealed empty tile that also has an empty tile underneath it looks to be the same as the scenario described in 0002101.
