Description | i noticed when creating rock short swords at a craft dwarf workshop copper swords can be created if native copper is closest at hand. i haven't tested with any other stone types. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Make sure Copper is close to craft dwarf workshop Craft dwarf workshop -> Make Rock Short Sword -> R See that dwarf will use copper in the construction of the sword. see that the product of his work is a copper sword. | ||||

This is a result of the new stone values and properties that were implemented back in 31.01, just that they're only working properly now. If you look through the RAWs you'll find that a variety of stones now have the property [SHARP], or something like that, that allows them to be used to produce rock short swords. I believe the thinking goes, "a variety of other stones can also produce hard, sharp edges when properly treated, so they should be classed with obsidian as well". |
