OSUbuntu LinuxOS Version10.04
Product Version0.31.16
Summary0003441: Crash on Save
DescriptionReproducible both with Windows version of 31.16 in Wine and with native Linux version.

When trying to save, or upon seasonal autosave, Dwarf Fortress closes immediately. Terminal shows seg fault message. Game does NOT save or get to the cleaning objects phase, so not the same as 0000277.

At first I thought it might have something to do with me loading up the Manager menu with a bunch of jobs, but it crashes upon trying to save even with all dwarves left idle.
Steps To ReproduceSave file available at: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=3301

1. Load save.
2. Wait.
3. Try to save after 20 Timber, or, wait for the seasonal change with autosave on.

Boom.
Additional InformationRaws have been modded, both for Civilization Forge and some of my own tweaks. However, no raws have been edited since worldgen.

Running on an Asus eeePC 1000 HE with 2 gigs memory, no tilesets. Some - but not all - of my previous fortresses have also had this problem; most have made it into year 2 just fine.

Still happens in 31.18, fresh install, just copy the save over. Curious.

Have you tried turning off compressed saves in your init files settings?
