Not a bug - obsidian short swords require both an obsidian stone AND a wooden log, since that's what they're actually made of. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macahuitl for more information. |

Already a known bug about obsidian short swords made of wood, but unless you're using .12 or older I'm pretty sure this is fixed. Wood is still needed for the handle. |

Obsidian short swords are made of obsidian shards embedded in a wooden handle. Also, just making a sword entirely out of stone would probably be pretty hard! |
