Summary | 0003506: Merchants' animals can fly after going mad.
Description | After holding some elf merchants for slightly too long, the merchants and their horses went insane. Some of the horses then walked into murky pools. They fell, but on reaching the edge of the pool, were able to rise back up to the original level and walk again.
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Get merchants 2) Make them go mad 3) Have them walk across murky pools

It's not flying, it climbing, and I guess it's intentional. Creatures that can swim can now climb out of water even if there is no ramp. So if there was water in the pool, this explains it. |
|
Creatures that can swim have always been able to climb out of water in the absence of a ramp - only non-swimmers need ramps to get out of the water. |
|
Climbing out of pools is thankfully a feature and not a bug, as it makes adventurer mode somewhat survivable (and slaughtering carp in rivers a good way to get experience!). You're just seeing it in dwarf mode. |
