Summary | 0003617: Shrubs and Trees grow in non muddy soil after breaking into the cavern
Description | I don't know if this is a bug or intended behavior, but after breaking into the cavern trees and shrubs starting growing on the first few sandy levels of my fort. These areas haven't been made muddy. Nothing is growing on non muddy rock. This is my first time breaking into a cavern, so maybe this is intended behaviour. My apologies if so.
Steps To Reproduce | Dig through some soil underground, then breach the cavern, and wait

This is normal and has always been the case - underground plants are capable of growing on dry underground soil if there's an unmined soil wall underneath them (or if there's a tile of mud on the same Z-level) within a 2-tile radius. |

Ah, that explains why they aren't growing everywhere then. Thanks, |
