Description | When trying to sleep at a (humnan) house without permission and where the occupants are asleep, the dialogue window will appear. The player cannot sleep until permission is given to stay. This happens when adjacent to an NPC and might happen anywhere in the room. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Start adventure mode 2. When it is night, enter an occupied dwelling with sleeping NPCs 3. Attempt to sleep until dawn | ||||

I'm pretty sure this is intentional. If you look at the particular NPC you'll notice that they actually wake up to talk to you so they're not talking in their sleep. Otherwise there would be no point in having to ask for permission to sleep there. I think of it as one guy getting slightly woken up by you coming in and later fully waking up and finding someone unexpected sleeping in the house. |
