Summary0003692: Killed forgotten beast made of mud, collapsed into unnamed "pool of"
DescriptionRecently, a forgotten beast described as "a great blob composed of mud" arrived at my fortress, and a chained jabberer killed it without being injured. However, once it died, its corpse turned into a "pool of" and stained the tile brown. When one of my dwarves walked through the tile (to pick up the beast's severed wings and haul them to a refuse stockpile), the pool turned into "a smear of" and spread into "a spattering of" in the adjacent tile the dwarf walked through; upon examining the dwarf's inventory, his shoes now had a smear of mud on them.

It looks like the mud was created in liquid form instead of solid form (e.g. "a pile of mud"), and the lack of name is presumably due to the MUD material not having names for the LIQUID or GAS states (not to mention lacking a melting point entirely).

Looking at the creature's raws (extracted from world.dat), this appears to be due to it using the combination of [TISSUE_MATERIAL:MUD] and [TISSUE_MAT_STATE:LIQUID], something which is technically impossible.
