| Description | When I attempt to load a saved game, DF will allow me to select the (only) game, will act like it's loading and take about the right amount of time, and then crash. | ||||

Whats the size of the embark and your total memory? |

Default embark size, 1GB of memory. I don't believe this has to do with the size of the embark, though, since this is not the first save I've made. Additionally, the game was not running overly slowly before when I was able to save/load. |

Just trying to rule things out. I tried loading it, and the memory ramps up using about 100MB every 2 seconds, stops between 700-1GB and crashes. But I do have 1GB to spare. |

Yeah, I tried to rule out as much as I could as well... but forgot to mention that I'd loaded and saved this particular game a number of times before this incident. Also: as far as I'm aware, no combat is going on -- and my errorlogs from 0.31.16 and 0.31.18 don't have any lines in common. |

Since save compatibility has been broken since this report, it's hard to tell whether this crash has since been fixed. If anyone has a save that crashes under similar conditions in the latest version, please upload it to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ and PM a manager on the forums (or reopen the report). |
