I've seen this happen--I think any [CANLATCH] attack that severs by shaking might do this. Must be a funny-looking arc... |

I guess you'd prefer it to say something like "The head is severed. The rest of the body flies off in an arc!"? Because that's what it means; not too non-understandable to me, but the above would be clearer. |

The reason for this bug is pretty simple -- the game is hardcoded to say "sails off in an arc" for ANY amputation, and fails to account for the special case of amputations by shaking. |

Can confirm still present in 0.40.19 I bit off an Aardvark toe and there definitely wasn't anything that went flying off in an arc, toe or body. |
