OS | Windows 7 | OS Version | 64bit
Product Version | 0.31.18
Summary | 0003825: FPS drop/freezes after reclaim
Description | Huge FPS drop after reclaiming a fort(Twice).
Steps To Reproduce | Make a normal fort (no magma, no steam, no HFS) with a running river. Have around 100 dwarfs slain by goblins. Reclaim it, have your 7 dwarfs slaim by the goblins again and finally reclaim it again
Additional Information | So, I just lost my fort and I tried to reclaim it, twice(yeah, I lost it because I forgot to bring weapons and there were still goblins), in the second reclaim I'm having a huge lag with some kind of "freeze". I have my fps cap set to 200 and it goes normaly slowing to 80~100 when I have 80 dwarfs, now i'm having 80 with 7 dwarfs. And every, I don't know, 4 seconds it slows to 50 or so for about 2 seconds. My friend reported the same "bug". It's the first time I tried to reclaim a fort, so I'm not sure if it's because of the new version. My config is Intel I3 530, GTS 250, 2gb ddr3 1333mhz.

The save above is technically for an Unretire, not a Reclaim, so this may turn out to be an entirely different issue. The fortresses in question are "Tulonthabost" and "Otaddeler", and both of them experienced severe lag due to 0007392 (i.e. dwarves being located in unrevealed areas and spamming "could not find path" job cancellations), and revealing the map using DFHack caused all of the lag to go away. |
