Summary0004012: Seg fault during world gen
DescriptionRan ./df under linux with no arguments. Only changes to *init were to disable sound and intro, and to enable seasonal autosave with pause. Resized the window. Started world gen using all the default settings.

World gen seemed to be running fine for a while, with years of history ticking by and the map updating periodically. Then it crashed:

~/df_linux$ ./df
Loading bindings from data/init/interface.txt
New window size: 640x300
Font size: 8x12
Resizing grid to 80x25
Resizing font to 8x12

New window size: 796x637
Font size: 8x12
Resizing grid to 99x53
Resizing font to 8x12

./df: line 6: 29446 Segmentation fault (core dumped) ./libs/Dwarf_Fortress "$@"

gdb is not much help:

Core was generated by `./libs/Dwarf_Fortress'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.

Steps To ReproduceTried using the seeds shown below with "advanced" world gen, medium island, 250 years of history, but it didn't crash. Maybe I have to change some other setting to match what "create world now" sets. Or maybe it's just not reproducible.
Additional Informationgamelog.txt has:
*** STARTING NEW GAME ***
Generating world using parameter set CREATE WORLD NOW = 433333
 Seed: 4145461744
 History Seed: 1999774184

I fed the information into the Create World Now dialog and it went through fine. It looks like one of the more annoying intermittent crashes that we'll have to wait on.

Let's hope this was one of the world gen bugs that Toady fixed recently.
