Reminder sent to: Thiam I can't reproduce a crash on Vista - do you happen to have TrueType enabled, and if so, does it not crash if you disable it? |

Taken from init.txt [TRUETYPE:NO] So this is a no. Does anything happen after 26 seconds? Season change? Merchants? If not, could you let it run for 30 seconds, save and post the save? I'll test on my Vista desktop this evening. |

Do you have seasonal autosaves and compressed saves enabled? Compressed saves are problematic on Win 7 64-bit. |

The only thing that happens (where crashes usually happen on generating new creatures) is the arrival of the liaison/merchants - are you getting to that? |

The game runs past the 26 second mark this morning. :-) And sure, a caravan and an outpost liaison arrive. I think the crashed is caused by too restrictive NTFS permissions on /data Changed them yesterday, but didn't solved the crash yesterday. Tried once more this morning, et voila, no more cashes. I did generate a new world too, yesterday. (Compressed saves and autosave are on, but the game does not perform a save at the 26 sec mark) |

I also had no crash with this running 0.31.25 on 32-bit Linux. Merchants showed up and many masterpieces were created. |

Since you seem to have resolved your problem I'm going to resolve this - if you come across this again and it isn't one of the suggested problems discussed above or a technical issue on your end, please reopen this report and post your new findings. |
