| Description | Raw skins, Bones, and Fat from butchered creatures are left in the butchery. Skulls are hauled as normal to refuse stockpiles. Tanning shop and kitchen still show "Tan hide" and "render fat" as red and unable to queue. Dwarves with all hauling jobs ignore the fat, bones and skin and they're never moved to refuse pile. | ||||

Do you have all hauling types enabled in the [o]rders menu? Are burrows preventing your dwarves from accessing the workshop? Did you block off the passable tiles of your workshop with walls? http://df.magmawiki.com/index.php/DF2010:Workshop#Description |

The second part sounds like an instance of the more generic 'materials are ignored by workshop menu if not in correct stockpiles' bug that ails at least kitchen(fat), screwpress, soap maker, butcher and tanner. It affects "auto kitchen" as well, but not "auto fishery." I had a pile of fat in butchery, but main food stockpile was full. I built another kitchen and a fat-only stockpile next to it. That started fat rendering. |

Is you butchery outside? Do you have Dwarves Gather Outside Refuse enabled? |
