Summary0004527: Miners don't fully respect burrows
DescriptionMiners don't respect burrows if they are already on the way to a task when I assign them to a burrow that does not include that designation. Since haulers do cancel a hauling job if the item is outside the burrow, this is inconsistent behavior. Also, this is insanely annoying because there is no "zoom to job location" feature for mining, so there's no easy way to find out where he is headed. Since disabling a labor does not stop a job in progress, the only reliable way to deal with this problem is to forbid the miner's pick, causing him to immediately drop it on the ground. If he is outside, as he was when this happened to me, it will likely remain out there long enough for rhesus macaques to come steal it. (Especially if the reason I assigned him to a burrow is to get him back inside because of a massive goblin siege, which will then prevent me from going back outside for a while.)
Steps To Reproduce1. Make a burrow.
2. Make a one-square mining designation that is outside of the burrow.
3. When a miner takes on that job, immediately assign him to the burrow.
4. Notice that the miner doesn't cancel his job, and just keeps on walking to the designation.

Note that you can designate unrevealed areas as part of a burrow. It won't display(flash), but miners will still dig it out.(after it's revealed, it starts to flash.)
