| Summary | 0004646: Floor grates block flow of smoke (and bees) | ||||
| Description | Smoke will not pass upwards through a floor grate. Also, a beehive with only a floor grate between it and the outside world considers itself to have no access to the outside. As liquids are intended to pass through a floor grate, gasses (and small things like bees) ought to as well. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Dig out a chamber below the surface and fill it with smoke by throwing coal into lava. Channel a hole in the ceiling. Note that the smoke will travel through the hole in the ceiling out into the surface world. Put a floor grate in the hole. Note that the smoke is now trapped underground. | ||||
