| Description | So I recently went back to Dwarf Fortress and grabbed 31.25. I do know that it ocassionally does crash my computer, but now I've noticed something. The worlds I get created never stick around for more than one session. I thought this was just a problem with the unexpected closing down and all, but I recently tried just quitting the game and loading it again, and what do I find? No "Start New Game" at all. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | All the worlds I've created so far (and thus, all the ones affected by the bug) were Large worlds with Frequent minerals. Apart from that, all the other settings were as standard (With the exception of one, which had a Long history). Close the game for any reason and it's gone. | ||||

You can only have one game at a time per world. If you "Start a game" once for each world, then you can no longer start a game for that world, without abandoning the previous fort. |

Quietest, I think it saved itself to Downloads. kwieland, the point is that there IS no world to start a game on when I come back. |

You have extracted the game from the zip, right? |

When you come back after exiting and saving you won't see "start playing" at all. You'll only see "continue playing", Cyborg Mage. That was Kwieland's point and I think you might've missed it. Also an answer to Otu's question would be good. |
