| Description | I don't know what causes this, but I have an underground pasture, and I have elephants, rhinos and draltha assigned to it, it's all set up correctly and one of four pastures I use, all of them identical aside from the animals in them (I spilt the animals up by species) but every few years the animals in one pasture will all just leave and go and wander to my statue garden. Checking the pasture screen shows they are all assigned to it, nothing has been changed, but none of my dwarves will take them back there (The path to it is entirely clear, no obstructions or locked doors and I have 30 idle dwarves with all labours) and this only happens with these animals (it started when the only creatures there were draltha, I deleted the pasture and remade it but now several years later it happened again.) | ||||

Forgot to mention, the only changes that have been made to this version fo DF involve editing the grazer tag so large animals don't starve to death. The tag is still present, but the amount of food the animal needs has been reduced. |

I've seen this too. A workaround I found was to make a cage with a door. Do you have any barrier? |

I have an airlock set up with two doors pets are forbidden to walk through, but this just means they cluster up in the tile next to the door, trying to find a path to the meeting hall hundreds of times per second, slowing the game to a crawl and eventually starving to death. |
