Summary0004733: Injured dwarf claims all of fortress' food
DescriptionI had a military dwarf that lost the ability to grasp, but was set to carry rations. I did not pay attention to the "Cancel Pickup Equipment" spam until I noticed that my dwarves started to starve. It seems that this single soldier continually failed to pick up his food supplies, and in the process managed to claim all of the fort's >1000 food.

Changing his orders stopped fresh claims, but did not free the ones that the dwarf had already claimed.
Additional Informationrelated to 0000306, #46696, 0002398, but since it also highlights some deficiencies in the claiming system, I thought it might justify a separate bug report.

Actually, this is a duplicate of a combination of 0000306 and 0001608. Can probably be removed.

There is a DFHack tool that can help you by clearing the ownership flag on all items on the floor. A number of people have found it extremely helpful.
