Summary0004735: Bumblebees not hiveable, but make food and drink
DescriptionBumblebees lack the ARTIFICIAL_HIVEABLE tag, so unlike honey bees beekeepers can't do anything with them. However, they have tags for honey, mead, and royal jelly. These means that dwarves can end up with a preference for bumblebee honey/mead/jelly that there's no way to satisfy. Either bumblebees should be given ARTIFICIAL_HIVEABLE, or they shouldn't have any associated honey/mead/jelly.

Toady's note at 0004003:0015306 states it is currently intentional that bumblebees lack the ARTIFICIAL_HIVEABLE tag and are unharvestable. I wouldn't think the preferences for it will get fixed until release 8.

The preferences problem could easily be fixed by removing the tags on honey and mead from the bumblebee definition.
