Summary | 0004792: Storing items with [p]ack is highly erratic
Description | Occasionally an item will refuse to be properly [p]acked into the backpack(s) but will allow itself to be put in a bag contained in the packpack. Or in my case, a pair of *<<-Iron Greaves->>* refused to be stored anywhere but a flask I'd just found.
Steps To Reproduce | Try [p]acking items time to time and see when it says no suitable container found. Was not verified but seems to be consistent per individual item-to-item. As in, the one instance of the item will refuse consistently, while another identical might be fine.
Additional Information | Was not verified but seems to be consistent per individual item-to-item. As in, the one instance of the item will refuse consistently, while another identical might be fine. A simple workaround is to [d]rop the item, ensure the backpack is worn, then [g]rab it off the ground straight into the backpack.

Item volume (for the purposes of container capacity) likely does not take into account the volume of any contents - in this case, bags are treated as rigid containers that occupy their maximum volume even when empty, so if you have an empty one in your otherwise full backpack, you'd be able to insert items into that bag. |
