| Description | Unmined galena and unmined marble look exactly the same. They're the same color and same tile no matter what graphics pack you use. And that's a problem when galena veins appear in marble layers, as they did in my current fort. Mining the galena is a real pain. You can only see the galena with [k]. Yes, it's easy to work around with a manual edit to the raws, but think of the newbies. They don't need the confusion. It's a minor problem with a very easy fix. Toady just needs to edit the raws to tweak the appearance of either marble or galena. | ||||

No they don't - unmined galena appears as £ and unmined marble appears as ▓. As Quietust states, the vanilla raws for Galena and Marble are different tiles, 156 and 178 respectively. If you are using mods or graphics packs that may alter these settings, please contact the creators on the forums for help with their creations. |
