Description | When adding specific types of weapons to uniforms and assigning materials to them, ranged weapons allow "any material", "wood", "bone", and each of the individual metals (for ranged weapons only, of course), woods, and bones. However, no generic "metal" option can be selected, as is the case with certain types of armor (such as boots and shields).
Normal melee weapons don't have a "metal" option either, but they don't strictly need it since they can only be made of metal (barring strange moods, which have been known to produce weapons made of bone). Training weapons also seem to only permit metals, even though they can only be made out of wood, but that's probably another bug entirely. |
