Do you have TrueType mode enabled? If so, does turning it off make the crash go away?

 Not sure. I was running the game unmodified, except I set the tile resolution to 80x50. I doubt that caused it.

Can you please verify if you have TrueType enabled? If so, does turning it off solve your embark crash? And have you had problems with that resolution setting before/after?

If you are able to reproduce it in the future (with the same version 31.25) and another bug doesn't describe your situation, please reopen this report and update it with more information.
