| Steps To Reproduce | Use manager to forge at least 2 items at magma forge. Have not tested in other regions. | ||||
| Additional Information | Seems to happen with magma smelter as well, but not as predictably. Lava underneath is deep enough to use. Tested with gold and iron and with various items. Problem does not occur when I queue jobs at the workshop. Save and load does not fix it. | ||||

You have a normal smelter on z-level 144, a bit above your central staircase, and two normal forges one z-level below that. These are responsible for the cancellations, as the manager queues jobs into those buildings as well. Since you have no refined coal, these tasks then get canceled. |

The manager will distribute jobs to all available/appropriate workshops - in this case, you still have metalsmith forges in addition to your magma ones and no fuel, which is why you are getting cancellations. To exclude using the non-magma ones, you'll have to queue jobs at the magma smelter manually. |
