| Summary | 0000547: Barrels Are Forever | ||||
| Description | Once a barrel's taken by a stockpile, it stays there forever even if it does nothing useful. When I started running out of barrels, I divided up my stockpiles and changed their options so as to free up more barrels. Now my drink-only stockpile has an empty barrel in it that nobody uses for anything and can't be used by brewers. I'm not sure how to reproduce this. | ||||

Just a single empty barrel? I'm pretty sure it's normal for stockpiles to reserve a single container. Can anyone confirm? |

Stockpiles like to have an empty container in them, as I recall. That way, that if something new goes into the stockpile, they don't have to put it on the floor, bring a barrel/bin over, then put the new thing into the container. |
