| Description | The world generation crashes when I press Enter to accept the generated world. This happens for a variety of starting conditions including the defaults. The following error is produced in the terminal: terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::length_error' what(): vector::_M_fill_insert | ||||

In what ways have you modded the game? Also, what print mode are you using? Did you export any maps before accepting the world? |

I have not modded anything, nor exported maps. I just run dwarffortress as the terminal command, using the standard install from the Arch repos. I changed a few settings in /usr/games/data/init/init.txt to make it fullscreen, use my favourite tileset and show the FPS. |

Does toggling TrueType fix the problem? Does it crash every time? If not, can you reliably reproduce a crash from specific seeds and vanilla world gen params? |

Got it working, somehow the permissions on the saves folder were wrong (something to do with the package manager probably) and it couldn't save the world. |
