| Description | Hello I've seen plenty of pathfinding troubles here but I don't really know if they are related to this one. I tried to dig (channeling) a few levels down on a young fortress. Until I found my miners dying at the bottom of the channeling I was doing. with <=upward slope and >=downward slope and .=cave floor X=cave wall for instance, lvl x: XXXXXX X<..>X X<..>X XXXXXX lvl x-1: XXXXXX X>..<X X>..<X XXXXXX and so on Strangely the paths are blocked soon. | ||||

Ramps do not work that way - you can only move up a ramp if the ramp is braced against a wall and the destination floor tile is above that same wall.If you look at the descriptions of those tiles, you will even be told that the ramps are unusable. Not a bug - user error. |
