Summary | 0005867: Direction of movement changes major river depth
Description | What it says on the can. Moving one direction (I think upstream) the river stays 7/7, turn and move downstream, it starts dropping randomly to 6/7's and 5/7's. Get out, go that direction for a bit, get back in, go back the way you can, 7/7's the whole way. Movement is made more difficult my the requirement to alt-move into 7/7 tiles from a less than 7/7 tile. I searched and searched, couldn't find this exactly mentioned anywhere. Sorry if it's a dup.
Steps To Reproduce | Enter major river Go upstream go downstream
Additional Information | http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=6279 Here's the save in case it's only my computer. Loads in the water with a lot of 6/7's to the right. Left restores 7/7's, right creates 6/7's and 5/7's. As stated above, I got out, went right for quite a distance, got back it. All 7/7's, went back left, all 7/7's. The moment I go right from any point, 6/7's and 5/7's start impeding my swimming.

I didn't see an attach file button, so I stuck a save on DFFD if you needed it. Again, I searched and searched, didn't see this anywhere, so if it's something with my computer only, or if it's a duplicate... Sorry :p Oh, and sorry for the typo, too, can't find/didn't realize there was no edit button:p And I didn't know what monitor did, so I clicked it, and then unclicked it... Hence the log saying I did that:p |

Still doing it in 0.34.08, just an update. Also, some more checking, definately seems to happen when going downstream into areas you don't "remember," ie, unrevealed. Maybe it's not calculating enough flow or something. Just went a while, got down to almost all 5's. |
