| Summary | 0006130: Engrave slabs list misses some previously engraved names | ||||
| Description | Sometimes a previously engraved slab will not be recognized as engraved when viewing the list of dead dwarfs, etc. that can be engraved. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Kill off a whole bunch of dwarfs. 2. Engrave slabs for them. If you pay close attention you might spot that 'Urist Sillyname' is listed as 'No Slabs Engraved' when you're pretty sure you have actually engraved him a slab. 3. Build the engraved slabs. You probably have a couple on the 'engrave slab' menu that are listed as No Slabs Engraved Memorialized Urist Sillyname (Engrave Memorial) | ||||
| Additional Information | In the save I'm going to upload Krishungis Dalkamlaz has been memorialized twice, but still is listed as 'no slabs engraved' on the crafting workshop menu. (Item decorations was the closest job I could find for the category) | ||||

Well I've worked out something about this bug. It seems that those who are not recognized as having a slab engraved are usually (always?) those you don't need to memorialise anyway. For example, Yaks, merchants, invaders and thieves. Maybe there is supposed to be some code to stop them being listed in the 'Engrave' list, but it isn't working properly. |
